The Boathouse Restaurant

This little restaurant was converted from a former boathouse, complete with balcony area overlooking the loch.

There are hints at the shore and the sea throughout; in the shell wall lights, the pebble fronted bar with its nautical lights, the “globe” pendant lights, Dickie’s driftwood sculptures and mirrors made from beach treasures.

The furniture is from Hyacinth Designs and covered in a wool plaid in soft blues and greens. The curtains are hung behind a pelmet made from oars strapped together with nautical rope.
