The owners wanted to retain the character of the existing farmhouse, but it was too small for their needs – and none of the first floor rooms looked out at the wonderful views of the surrounding mountains.
Jane completely re-arranged the first floor, moved the staircase, and designed an entrance porch and extension to the rear.
The whole house was then redecorated and re-furnished.
The ceiling in the Moroccan loo was inspired by our recent holiday in Marrakech and was made to Jane's design by Peter Davies.
The kitchen was created using (and painting) the old pine units in a completely new open plan configuration.
